Avnish and his 3 brothers grew up in Eldoret, Kenya.

 

His brothers were born in Mombasa but Avnish was born in Eldoret.

 

Born Jan 59, Nov 60 (Avnish), Nov 61, Jun 63.

 

Mother was born in Nairobi 1926. Her Dad and 2 of her Dad’s brothers were all

 

headmasters - brothers in Nakuru and her Dad mainly in Mombasa. 

 

All went to Hill School, Eldoret.  Headmaster was Mrs Barbour.

 

Older brother of Avnish also went to Lenana School in Nairobi.

 

Left Kenya in Dec 72 to go to India. 

 

Returned to Kenya in mid 75 before going to London in October 1975.

 

Parents were teachers.

Parents have passed on but their 4 sons, 4 daughters-in-law and 9 grand children live in London

(3 younger brothers on the same road in Chigwell and older brother nearby in Loughton).
