Edoardo Flores lived in Kenya with his family from 1950 to 1954.

 

                        

                     His father was a manager at Nyali Beach Hotel in Mombasa

                   and later manager of the Brackenhurst Hotel in Limuru.

                     Attended Kaptagat school before moving to St. Mary’s School

                     in Nairobi between 1953-54.

                        Lived and worked for three years in South Africa (1966 to 1969),

                        based in Pretoria but also spent some time in Simonstown.

                     

                     Friends with John Travis, the son of the Mayor of Nairobi.
