Born in Dar in 58. 

John's father worked for BAT/ShellBP in Tanganika/Tanzania at Dar, Tabora and Mwanza between 1954 - 1960.
For Shell/BP in Kenya at Nanuki between 1961 - 1965.
For Unga Bread Ltd in Uganda at Jinja between 1965 - 1972.

 

John's mother was a teacher.

 

Family moved to Nanuki in 61 and lived there till about 65. 

Moved to Jinja, Uganda.

 

Left Uganda for UK in 72.

Went to school at Manor House, Kitale from 66 - 71.

Now living in Haywards Heath, UK.
